How do I submit a suggestion?

You can submit a suggestion from the homepage or from any suggestion box page. Enter a name (company, person, place, etc.) followed by your suggestion after the word “should”. It should read like, “Honda should build an electric skateboard”. You can also find an existing idea on the site and click the “should do this” button. The idea will now be on your profile page.

How do I delete a suggestion from my list?

Go to the suggestion page and click the “edit or remove” link in the upper right section of the page. Select “remove it from your list” and click the update button.

How do I add my profile photo?

Go to your profile page (you can get there by click “my ‘x’ suggestions” in the upper part of the page). Beneath the smiley face or existing picture you’ll see an “upload photo” link. Click that link and upload your picture.

In the right column of every suggestion page you’ll see a poll: “How likely is this to happen?”. Go ahead and vote. To change your vote simply click the other button and your vote will be switched. There is no way to remain neutral once you’ve voted.

To change the date, simply select a new date and click the “save” button. The date is always editable, but there is no way to remain neutral once you’ve entered your guess.

Right now you can’t. If you’ve made a spelling error or want to update a suggestion box name, go ahead and create a new box with the correct spelling and add your suggestions there. It’s okay to have more than one box. People tend to gravitate to correct spellings and active suggestion boxes.

How do I select my top 8?

You can select up to 8 of your favorite suggestions on your list. We call this your Top 8. Click the star next to suggestions you want in your Top 8. Suggestions need to be in your Top 8 to be reordered (you can have fewer than 8 if you like).

How do I re-order my top 8 on my profile page?

Go to your profile page and click the “reorder my favorites” link at the top of your suggestions list. Drag the suggestions to your desired order and click the “done” button.

How do I delete an entry?

Find the entry you want to delete (it has to be your entry). Click the “delete” link at the bottom of the entry. You must be signed in to see the delete link on all your entries.
