Although I’ve probably got a reasonable handle on the term, a few others I talk to in our organisation haven’t, but they are still getting excited about it.
In some ways it feels like web 2.0 is the new ‘postmodern’. Anyone old enough to rember the quote “This word doesn’t mean anything. Use it as often as possible”?
There are a lot of languages in the world whichever way you count them. ethnologue.com lists 6912 at it’s last update and a few other people like to classify things diferently and come up with even bigger numbers. As common craft does such excellent videos in plain English, perhaps one on the complexity of language would be fun and informative. I’m not a linguist but know several who could offer some more suggestions on how to develop this idea.
