    Should do this 2 cheers

I agree, as long as there was also some way to separate items…like two movies/books/whatever with the same title (especially remakes of movies), or Criterion version vs. other version.

    Should do this

If the only problem here is the links to Amazon.com, why not present the user with a multiple product list (like you would receive on a search) when the click the link? It would make listofbests a lot better, too, if there was only one version of movie and book, because as it is now, you may have one marked on a list, only to find it’s ‘unconsumed’ on another list.

    Should do this

Agreed – this would definitely make it easier to navigate the entries in a more user-friendly manner (i.e.: not having to scroll through trying to figure out which version I saw). I also agree this would be just as applicable to books and music. Maybe implementing a duplicate merging system like 43Places has would help clean this up?

    Should do this 2 cheers

I agree. The “widescreen” version of a movie is the same thing as the “fullscreen.”

    Should do this

They should somehow be merged into one, with maybe links on the side that lead to amazon for a couple of different versions. I find some movies have at least ten versions on allconsuming and it is quite annoying. This could also go for books and music.
